Types of banners

The following are the most commonly used types of banners:

  • Frontlit: with welded edges, very rigid and resistant to any environmental conditions. Coated, semi-laminated and laminated materials are used. Among all the most resistant is the coated banner.
  • Blockout: (shield from sunlight): integrated/embedded filter helps so the banner can be more visible in sunlit places. Available both-sided. Each side can contain different graphic content which is a good alternative solution which can be used on various exhibitions or conferences etc
  • Backlit: used for illuminated graphics whereas the light breaking through the colourful lid generates great exposure and visibility.  recommended solution where available location does not allow to place a standard banner.
  • Reflection kind of banner: new and an alternative solution to the backlit solution above. Mainly used during autumn and winter seasons. Best visible if placed near roads. Reflects headlights of the cars passing by and it is visible 24/7.
  • Mesh net (aka screen printing or silkscreen printing or serigraphy or serigraph printing) fairly unique vinyl type of material . Lightweight  and very resistant to any scratches or sunlit. Because of the material's structure it does not wobble while windy.

Being a very light-weight in comparison with regular banner (at about 10lbs less) it is a perfect solution for a large format advertisements. It can be placed on any building surface as well as it can cover scaffoldings, fences etc. It does not need an extra investment into heavy building constructions.
These kind of nets are assembled using thin steel ropes or tensioning belts.
